• 22squared Diversity Equity & Inclusion Council - Founding Member of an internal group dedicated to effecting change inside and outside the agency and making DEI not an afterthought, rather the starting point.
• Spoke at The One Club’s Creative Week 2021 with other members of 22Squared and Guided By Good’s DEI Council. We touched on issues dealing with how we got started on our journey at the agency, with an audit of the staff and the work, how we got the backing of leadership and how we implement our DEI Council’s tenets in our day to day work for our clients and for our company as a whole.
• Attended ADCOLOR and spoke with a panel of other attendees on our learnings after the Conference. One of my highpoints was hearing Bishop TD Jakes speak on how business leaders today have a very unique position to be forces of good, of being the catalysts for change rather than always being reactive to it.
• Led agency-wide “Brave Spaces” and presentations on topics such as Men’s Health, the “Frozen Middle” of Management and alcoholism.
